HALL OF FAME PLAYERS

In order to nominate a player to the NYHHOF, the nominator should:

  • List the years of residency the person has had in New York State.

  • Record the player’s accomplishments in all forms of handball, singles and doubles, while the player was a resident of New York State.

  • In recording the player’s achievements you may include championships, 2nd place finishes and semi-final finishes in junior, open, or master level events.

  • Events you may consider are those labeled “national.”  But you may also consider those labeled “world” and those local tournaments held not only in New York State, but outside of New York State.  You may also include any handball exhibitions in which the nominee played.  What is significant is that while the player you are nominating was playing handball at a high level, he/she was a resident of New York State.
